In this event, perhapa Mrs. Fairbanks, or some one of the youngor nurses
would be willing to take over the secrotarial work. Please remember,
however, that in making this suggestion, I really feal it is an act of
generosit; on our part, although wo want you to have the Chairmanship
of the Committee if you desire it and I know your wiso advico and help
would always be willingly given to the now Secretary. If this plan does
not seem to meet with the approval of yourself and the Committee, then we
are quite willing to appoint Mrs. Georgolla L. Fairbanks as Chaifman of
the Committee, upon receipt of their recommendation.
