6831 April 30, 1920. Miss Anna W. Kerr, 40 West 11th St., New York City. My dear Miss Kerr: T am enclosing an extract from a letter recently received from one of the nurses who is now in Paris, also a little article that was written by Miss Bethel, one of the two who went down, the other was Miss Margaret McCaughey. They also sent some photographs, one of which I are sending to you, so that you can see that the grave is not forgotten and that for the present, at least, it is being looked after. You will be surprised, I am sure, to hear of the death of Miss Sophia Palmer from apoplexy, which occurred last Saturday, from which she never regained con- sciousness, dying on Tuesday, and the funeral was yesterday, a notice of which reached me too late to be present. with best wishes, I am Very truly yours, Director - Department of Nursing. N/K
