C.\nMy dear Miss Petersen:\nI am referring to you a request for\ninformation which has come to this office. I was\nasked to try to locate a Mrs. Kidd who was sent\nabroad during the War as a Red Cross Nurse. She\nenrolled from Marietta, Ohio. After the War, she\nwas sent into Siberia and as I gather it, for\nsome reason it was necessary to send a rescue squad\ninto Siberia for her. This squad was supposedly\nfrom Company H. 31st Infantry.\nDo your records show anything regard-\ning this woman and if so, where was she to be fo und\nwhen her whe reabouts were last known? I could get\nno further information from the woman who called.\nShe did not know Mrs. Kidd's first name but was\npositive she enrolled under that name.
