a R E March 10, 1937 + Miss Ruth Laxton Christian County Chapter American Red Cross Hopkinsville, Kentucky My dear Miss Lextons In reply to that portion of your letter of in which you state that you have never received February American an official Red 23rd advice of the transfer of your record Louisville, as an Cross Home Defense nurse to our Kentucky, Local Committee, we hasten to assure you that this transfer was effected under date of October 29, 1936. Our records indicate that on November 5th we sent you our usual fora letter advising you of this transfer and informing you that - Miss Elsie Pearson, 1005 South Floyd Street, Louisville, Kentucky, is the Secretary of our Louisville Local Committee. Perhaps this communication miscarried. Thanking you for your interest, I am Sincerely yours, Director of Nursing MR-ec National Headquarters I D. 22
