Dear Mrs. Amick:
I am glad to answer your letter of January
20th regarding Miss Florence Little
Unless you consider Miss Little above the age
for foreign service I am very sure that she is par-
ticularly suitable for foreign service. You, no
doubt,have a record of her professional education
and experience and know that she has quite recently
done some college work and that she has held a po-
sition on the staff of the Barrington Visiting Nurs-
ing Association for several years. I know that she
hasibeen a very popular nurse in her community and
her long period of service must show that her board
and the community have been satisfied.
She comes from a very fine family. They have
enjoyed out-door life and have taken trips together
across the continent on several occasions. They are
experienced campers and I am sure Miss Little can
adjust to situations. She has had much experience e in
doing it. She swims will, rides horse-back and is
