My dear Miss Hill:-
We have received your physical examination from our Pacific Divi-
sion, and are sending your papers to the U.S. Public Health Service with the
information that you are available, and although preferring assignment to Cali
fornia, are willing to go where neodod. May I suggest that you do not make
definite preparations until you are notified, as it takes some few days to
arrange the assignments. A letter which is sent to all nurses whose pape rs
have been submitted to the urgeon General's Office is enclosed which we ho e
you will road carefully.
