July 10, 1918. Mrs. Lystra E. Gretter, Visiting Nurse Association, 924 Brush Street, Detroit, Mich. My dear Mrs. Gretter: I have received an application for the Town and Country work from Miss Gertrude Mill. She tells me that she would like to remain with you un- til January 1, 1919. I am writing to ask if it will be perfectly satisfac- tory to you to have her leave you at that time. If so, I shall greatly ap- preciate any information you can give me about her. It is so much easier if one has some knowledge of the personal characteristics of the nurse to place her satisfactory. Very sincerely yours, Director, g-t Bureau of Public Health Bursing.
