Miss Jane Delano,
c/o American Red Cross Association,
17th and H Streets,
Washington, D. C.
My dear Miss Delano:
I inclose herewith copy of a letter, written
by my sister and mailed when the "Red Cross" touched at Falmouth.
A day or two ago Mrs. Sarah Truax Albert, of 2318 West Pacific
Avenue, Spokane, Washington, called here at the Gallery and
stated that she was very much interested in organizing a series
of tableaux, to be held at Spokane, the proceeds of which were
to be devoted to the Red Cross. Mrs. Albert stated that she
would like exceedingly to have this letter published in the Spo-
kane papers, as she thought that it would arouse a great deal of
interest in her tableaux.
I am, therefore, sending a copy of it to you and I should
be glad if you will please read it over and let me know whether
or not there would be any objection to our sending Mrs. Albert
a copy of it to be used for this purpose. It is, of course, un-
necessary for me to say to you that I would not, under the cir-
cumstances, make any use of this communication from my sister,
without first having your approval.
Sincerely
CBBree yours, 418
