My dear Miss Mirmigerode:
Your letter of January 2nd has been received. The
points that you made are well taken.
The title, U.S. Public Health Service, on page 4,
should have been dropped down opposite your name. The first
part of the paragraph should be included under Mrs. Hickey's
statement.
These corrections, together with the striking out
of the word "civilian" where the narcotic farms are mentioned,
will be proposed at the next meeting of the National Committee.
As the minutes have already been circulated, it would be some-
what difficult to correct them until then.
In regard to the sequence, had I called for formal
reports the proper sequence would have been followed. The
discussion was more or less desultory, as you will recall.
For example, under Army Nurse Corps both you and Miss Gregg
made reference to some particular point.
