Miss Beard\nsaid that she had made no such appointment and was at a loss to under-\nstand how Miss Peterson could have gotten such an impression. For\nyour information, we are enclosing a copy of Miss Beard's letter ap-\npointing Miss Beterson a member of the State Committee on Red Cross\nNursing.\nI do appreciate very much the invitation of the State Com-\nmittee to speak at their dinner meeting and sincerely regret that con-\nditions have made it impossible for me to attend.\nWith very kindest regards, I am\nCordially yours,\nHelen F.
