My doar Miss Reod:
Your telephone message to Miss Noyes asicing for a record
of your service under the Red Cross, which we assume you wish to use ao
a credential in obtaining your Civil Service appointment, has been re-
ferred to me.
I assure you it gives us great pleasure to state that wre
have records to the effect that you served with the Children's Bureau from
February 7, 1918, until you were released in July, 1919. During that
time you were loaned for two months to the Rockeferler Foundation. May
I also stato that your service with the Red Cross was perfectly entiafac-
tory and we, should be very glad at any time to furnish the Civil Service
Commission with a confidential report on your work.
