AIR MAIL
Miss Stefanie Schlesinger
Babies Hospital
Newark, New Jersey
My dear Miss Schlesinger!
I am sure you wondered why we telegraphed you even before
you had left Washington yesterday. As a matter of fact, I tried to
leave a message for you at the pullman office and even tried to have
you paged at the station, as when I returned to my desk I found the
confirmation for which we had been waiting in regard to the appointment
for Chief Nurse at the Wahiawa Hospital on the Island of Oahu; hence
the telegram.
We enjoyed our conference, and are awaiting most eagerly the
physical examination report so that we may complete your appointment.
Do feel entirely free to call upon us for help in any way.
With our very best personal wishes to you and your continued success,
I am
Very truly yours,
(Mrs.) George T. Douglas
Assistant to Director
