Tillson\nNew Bedford, Massachusetts\nMy dear Miss Smy the:\nThe reply to your recent letter has been delayed on account of my\nabsence from the office. Your letter did not state where you wished to\nsecure a position. We have openings in practically every corner of\nthe\nUnited States and if you have a decided reference as to location, we\nwould put you in touch with our Director who has charge of the work in that\nDivision.\nMiss Miller's papers do not give us any idea of what her public\nhealth experience has been so we are not in a position to say anything def-\ninite about engaging her for our work. Perhaps you would like to ask Miss\nMiller to write us direct supplying the information we need. Quite frequent-\nly we have opportunities to place two nurses together and if it were so that\nthat arrangement could be made, we should be glad indeed to offer you some-\nthing where Miss Miller might also have an opportunity to work.\nYours sincerely,\nAssistant to the Director\n07/20\nBureau of Public Health Nursing"
