I, the undersigned, an applicant for a passport to go to
France under the auspices of the American Red Cross, solemnly
swear that I have no near male relatives serving in the armed
forces of the United States or serving in France in a civilian
capacity attached to the American Expeditionary Forces or to
a relief or hospital organization,
I further solemnly swear that I am going to France solely
as a Red Cross worker,
and that it is not my
intention to marry an officer or soldier in the American
Expeditionary Forces after my arrival in France.
