The insurance company will also pay, for continuous total dis-
ability incurred in service, a wookly indemnity of $25.00 beginning
the fifth weok of such disability and continuing for not more than
one hundred consecutive weeks. Thi S indemnity is allowed only if
you are troated by a quolified physician. During the first four
woeks of disability the American Red Cross will pay full salary to
sick or injured empl oyees as woll as their modical and hospital
expenses.
Acceptance of Service
In accepting my assignment to duty under the American National
Red Cross, I fully understand that I am entering, of my own volition,
upon a hazardous undertaking and that my assignment to duty is to be
within the cambat zono,
I further understand that I am not eligible for benefits available
to those sorving with the Army or Navy Nurso Corps.
I agroe to cocopt the assignment under these conditions and horoby
waive all claim to any benefits or assistonce excopt as provided above.
