My dear Miss Teal:
Thank you for your cordial letter. I intended
answering it sooner, but filed it with Miss Van Doorninck's papers,
as we are still olding them for further information.
I am sure, if you will arrive in Washington in
ample time for the Biennial, we will find something for you to do,
as it is going to be a busy time for the District Association.
However, as you know we have two hostess states joining us in this
event - Virginia and Maryland, - and they are going to have nurses
on our various committees. It does not seem possible that it is
less t an a year now to the Biennial, and I am looking forward with
some dr ad lest in any way we fail in our responsibility. There is
a splendid group of nurses working here so I am sure I need have no
fear, for after all executive ability lies in making other people
do the job.
We were disappointed that you did not get on to
the Convention, but I had a lovely time with Miss Groves. We had
an opportunity to get quite well acquainted. Hoping to see you
between now and the Biennial, I remain
