Miss Haig, April 3,1929 B.K. Pacific Branch Office FOR FILING Miss Fox I am sending you this correspondence which perhaps you had better destroy just to warn you against any suggestion that Miss Teal be employed as a NFR or as your assistant. I don't know how Mr. Jeffers feels about her but I am sure if he had had the personal contact with her that we had here, he would be the first to realize that she should not be given another responsible position in our organization. This letter from Seattle only confirms her previous record. She has a highly emotional temperament which leads her to take everything personally. She also is excessively sentimental and has little ability to think in straight, practical terms. Added to those handicaps, she has a very unfortunate trick of seeking sympahty from others without going directly to her chief. This is one of her worst habits, the disloyalty of which she never seems to recognize, but it's most demoralizing in an office. As you don't know Miss Teal, I think you should have this word of warning which I am very sorry to give. EGF:h
