    "ocrText": "May 7, 1923.\nMiss Theresa Kraker,\nActing Vocational Secretary,\nNational Organization for Public Health Nursing,\n370 Seventh Ave.,\nNew York City.\nMy dear Miss Kraker:\nIn reply to your two letters first allow me to state that Miss Clara A.\nMartin is not an enrolled Red Cross/and we have no record on file of anyone\nby that name.\nMiss Anna Louisa Tittman has rendered conspicuous service under the Red\nCross. Our first record of her is in Tornado Relief work. She was assigned\noverseas in the Siberian Commission, where she served as a Chief Nurse and\nwhere she had an opportunity to display unusual executive and organizing\nability. She is very keen and unusually apt in detail work. She is con-\nscientious, loyal, and has a well balanced sympathy. . Her aptitude is\nexcellent.\nShe was given Grade A. After her return from Siberia, she was\nAssistant to the Director of Nursing Service, American Red Cross, in our\nCentral Division. We have no record of her work in the Division office, and\nwould refer you to Miss Minnie H. Ahrons, Director, Nursing Service, American\nRed Cross, 660 Rush St., Chicago, Ill., relative to this.\nWe are very glad indeed to recommend Miss Tittman in the highest terms\nfor any work for which you may have her in mind.\nYours very truly,\nIda F.
