EXHIBIT OF BULGARIAN HANDWORK

ADMISSION 25 CENTS
PROCEEDS TO BE CONTRIBUTED TO THE BULGARIAN NURSES ASSOCIATION.
Rachel C. Torrance, who has been Director of
the School for Nurses of the Bulgarian Red Cross
Hospital, Sofia, Bulgaria, for the last two and a
half years, will exhibit embroideries and other hand-
work from Bulgaria and nearby countries, on Friday,
October 16th, afternoon and evening, at the Central
Club for Nurses, 132 East 45th Street. Turkish
coffee will be served - 10 cents.
The Bulgarian Nurses Association was formed
in February, 1924, and was admitted to the Inter-
national Council of Nurses at the Helsingfors
Congress. The association is issuing, monthly, a
nursing journal, the only publication in the country
that tells. of professional nursing, and is doing
much in other ways to educate both the nurses and
the public.
