Extracted from letter from Miss Torrance to Miss Noyes June 6, 1923. " A letter from Mr. Swift said that he had advice from Washington that I would leave this summer, and asking for the date that he might make sailing reservations. My repby was that I am expecting to be replaced and await definite word on this point, which I trust may come soon, but asino one is yet found and as I feel the new nurse should be here at least two months before I leave, it will be probably October when I go. Is this right?" Miss Noyes reply, July 2, 1923. " Mr. Swift sent you the usual letter that went around to everyone else, asking for the dat date of sailing, in order that he might make arrangements. I presume that he provided you with information regarding the method that we were following, as for example at the Warsaw School. for those who were not leaving immediately. I shall be sorry not to see you in Copengagen, I have been directed by the American Nurses' Association to represent them at the executive Committee Meeting of the International Council of Nursing, which meets on July 30th. Would there be any chance of your going? I cannot go down to Sofia but it would give me an opportunity to discuss the School with you and our plans and I believe it wo would be perfectly proper for you to charge your traveling expenses to our incidential fund. Please think this over and see if you cannot meet me in Copenhagen. 19 see letter filed 512. Bulgarian School. 1 Corres)
