Miss Ethel Trainor,

Selma, Ms.
My dear Miss Trainor:
We have received information from Miss Daspit
that she is making the necessary arrangements for
you to be assigned for surgical service under the
Red Cross in France. I must ask, however, that you
do not make any preparations, purchase equipment
or give up your position until definitely requested
to do so, as it takes some time to secure informa-
tion necessary for passports and reservations, and
many of our nurses have waited for weeks, aout of
work, because they have given up their positions
before being requested to do so. I do not believe
it would be possible for us to secure transportation
for you before August but if sooner than that we
will notify you.
