    "ocrText": "February 24, 1943\nMiss Jeannette Agnes Varrieur\n26 North Bend Street\nPawtucket, Rhode Island\nMy dear Miss Varrieur:\nNow that some of your credentials have been returned we are in\na position to definitely consider your application for civilian nursing\nservice in Hawaii. Your appointment depends, of course, upon your present\nphysical fitness for foreign service. Therefore, I am referring you to\nDr. John F. Kenney, 209 Broadway, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for this\nphysical examination. We are also communicating with Dr. Kenney, advising\nhim that you will report within a short time. Will you please, therefore,\ntake the responsibility of getting in touch with Dr. Kenney, upon receipt\nof this letter, to make an appointment. Dr. Kenney has been advised that\nthe American Red Cross will assume whatever expense is involved for the\nexamination. Your teeth should be in good condition so that you will not\nbe in need of any immediate dental work.\nAs soon as the report of your physical examination has been re-\nturned to this office we will advise you of the decision of our Red Cross\nmedical examiner concerning your physical fitness for service.\nVery truly yours,\nMrs. Ernestine B.
