My dear Mrs. Wagoner;
We are very sorry indeed to learn of the loss
of your Red Cross badge for, in this manner, many pins
fall into the hands of unscrupulous persons who exploit
them to the discredit of the American Red Cross Nursing
Service.
We shall be glad to send you a duplicate if you
will let us know how you happened to lose your badge, and
whether every effort has been made to recover it. This
information is requested to complete the record of your
lost badge in this office.
Upon the receipt of your reply we will have a
badge engraved with your enrollment number and forwarded
to you.
