3 Mrs. a AMERICAN RED CROSS the COMMITTEE IN GREAT BRITAIN BRETTENHAM HOUSE, AIRMAIL LANCASTER PLACE, W.C.2 required E Tel: Temple Bar 2333 March 24th 1942. M. Miss Mary Beard, Director, Nursing Service, American Red Cross, National Headquarters, Washington, D.C. Dear Miss Beard: Thank you for your letter of February 24th, enclosing your exchange of letters with Mrs. Elsie Jessup Waring. As you can imagine, it is a little difficult just now to see how we could avail of Miss Waring's services, but I am keeping her letter on file so that in case we develop any facilities for our soldiers on leave in her part of the country we can then explore the possibility of using her. Sincerely yours, Bennett S.Cirt Bernard S. Carter Delegate to Great Britain 31822
