Nurses for Virgin Islands

My dear Miss Evans:-
Mis. Ruth Waterbury, who has done a stunning piece of school or-
ganizing work in the Virgin Islands the past year, has cabled us for two ad-
diti mal nurses, and they must sail the first part of August or the latter part
of July for the Virgin Islands. The work is peciliar and would call for a rath
er unusual type of woman, - one who was adaptable and conciliatory, yet firm, and
with plenty of good ideas and judgment. She would be under the direction Of
Miss Waterbury, but that would enhance rather than restrict the development of
the nurse's work. The salary is 6175 per month and travelling expenses to the
Virgin Islands. won't you search among those very promising graduatos of this
spring's course, or any other course, and wire Miss Noyes collect the name of
any candidate whom you would be willing to recommend for this work.
