DEAN, TREASURER HAROLD R. MILLEB R.C. SMITH ROOM The undersigned FRANK FERGUSON FRANCIS J. BURRAGE, SECRETARY ROBERT WILLIAM E.NUTTING, MANAGER SAFE DEPOSIT DEPT. AUSTIN s CURTIS, RECENED April 24, 1939 APR 251939 Referred to Nursing Division, National Red Cross, Washington, D. C. Re: Estate of Yssabella G. Waters Gentlemen: As executor of the Will of Yssabella G. Waters late of Groton, Mass., we have found among her effects a sealed envelope apparently containing a pin. We have not opened the envelope. On the outside of the envelope Miss Waters had written as follows: "In case of my death this pin must be returned to the Nursing Division, National Red Cross, Washington, D. c." It appears from this that Miss Waters did not have complete title to the pin and that it does not now belong to her estate, but belongs instead to the Association mentioned above. The residuary legatee under her Will has waived all claim to this pin. We assume that you know what the pin is. Please let me know how much insurance should be placed on the pin when we send it to you and give us any further instructions which we should have on this matter. Very truly yours, P. H. Bunker Trust Officer PHB CD w
