My dear Miss Wilson:
The physician in New York City, by whom rinal physical examinations
of all nurses assigned to the American Red Cross-Harvard Hospital Unit
are being made, is Dr. John L. Caughey, Jr., of Presbyterian Hospital.
We are notifying him of your appointment to the Unit, pending report of
the final physical examination. You should get in touch with him for an
appointment as soon as possible.
lie are enclosing a copy of your physical examination report. This
you should take with you when you report for the final examination, and
also the film of your chest x-ray.
The cost of this physical examination is covered by the Red Cross.
Ir there is some question as to whether Lilly's "Typhoral Mixed"
material for typhoid immunization is acceptable, discuss this with Dr.
Caughey and he will be able to determine whether it is or not.
