BRONZE MEDAL
Eligibility
Any volunteer or paid worker, full or part time who died in
the service of the American Red Cross during World War II, in this country
or overseas, and who died as a result of that service, provided it is shown
that death occurred during his or her active war service with the Americar
Red Cross. This medal is awarded posthumously and subject to the approval
of the National Chairman.
Nurses recruited or enrolled by the American Red Cross are eligible
for this award provided that their death occurred during their active war
service in World War II.
