WORLD WAR II CERTIFICATES FOR THE NATIONAL STAFF
SERVING IN THE UNITED STATES (FORM 1867)
To whom are they awarded?
Workers who have given 200 hours or more in
organized volunteer service or 12 months or
more of satisfactory paid service between Jan-
uary 1, 1940 and the official close of the war.
Persons who have served for a shorter time but
have given effective service of special signi-
ficance may be considered for the award, sub-
ject to the approval of the Chairman or the
appropriate representative of the National
Organization.
Distributed: To the staff of National Headquarters
through Personnel Service at National Head-
quarters, or to area staffs through Area direct-
ors of Personnel Service, with a letter of trans-
mittal over the signature of the Chairman.

Note: Form 1867 was made un in July 1945, specially
inscribed, for workers in Prisoner of War Pack-
aging Centers. This certificate was originally
intended for distribution to volunteers who
have served 200 hours more or less since Jan-
uary 1, 1940. It was decided to issue the
certificates to those who have completed their
service in Prisoner of War Packaging Centers.
