Mrs. H. P. Garner,
142 East 27th Street, Apt. 20,
New York City.
My dear Mrs. Garner:
While I, too, an sorry not to have seen you again,
I can well understand the reasons, etc. for your departure.
I do not want to trouble you while you are here in
this country for a rest, but I would like to hear something of
Miss Pidoux. Having done everything I could to encourage the
venture, I am a good deal interested to know what progress she
is making. I have neither seen her not heard from her since
she came to this country. Perhaps Miss Johnson will be good
enough to write me about her.
I hope the Christmas bags will reach Haiti safely,
and that the mirses will enjoy their contents.
Please do not hesitate to call upon us as we are only
too anxious and interested to be helpful to you and the work
you represent.
Sincerely yours,
Clara D. Noyes,
National Director, Nursing S ervice.
