Georger judge\nthe it That on\nthe\n25 day of March\nin the\nof our Lord one thousand eight hundred and suxtynine chrolother Hanon\nof year Nor th Cavaan in said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdietion, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nChristopher Honor then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him\nbefore H. 7. Bluke cluk of the Supern Court\nfor Fanfued County\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Fairfered\n}\nss.\nthe it Remembered, That on the\n14 day\nof . March\nA. D. 186 before the\nSupervisor\nCourt, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared,\nhustopher Hauon\nL. S.\nof banaan in Seetpened\nin said\nCounty, who was born in I uland\naged about\n34 years, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nhutona green\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, H 7 Blake\nClerk of said Court, have hereuntoset my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. bies sell to list bas\nH.T. Blake Clerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said has resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe\nhas behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said Charlotte Haunt\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to buthria Luew\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat chus Whas Honon\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted al\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
