Georger judge the it That on the 25 day of March in the of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and suxtynine chrolother Hanon of year Nor th Cavaan in said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdietion, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Christopher Honor then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before H. 7. Bluke cluk of the Supern Court for Fanfued County and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Fairfered } ss. the it Remembered, That on the 14 day of . March A. D. 186 before the Supervisor Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, hustopher Hauon L. S. of banaan in Seetpened in said County, who was born in I uland aged about 34 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to hutona green of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, H 7 Blake Clerk of said Court, have hereuntoset my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. bies sell to list bas H.T. Blake Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Charlotte Haunt having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to buthria Luew of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that chus Whas Honon be, and he was accordingly admitted al to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
