Ata Superio Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of 299 Connecticut, on the 4 Tuesday of during in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and suxty nine PRESENT-HON. luis 7. Genner judge the it Remembered, That on the 25 day of Much in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and duxty num Jouhh Mallaison of conure u in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before It Yo Bluke Cluk of the supers bount for Fanfuca beunty and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Sitedfecence } ss. the it Remembered, That on the 20 day of leach Superm A. D. 186% before the Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, Jonehh Mallinious of Comman ai Littelfered in cald County, who was boru in England aged about 36 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to bectona drew of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, If Y B lake Clerk of said Coprt, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. bine Insa bire H. T.Blake Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Jourh Mallinson has resided within the United States five years at least, will batim and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.
