460 At a Superioran Courf, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the - State of Connecticut, on the 4th Tuesday generary of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy three PRESENT HON. Origin S Seymour Judge the it Remembered, That on the 22nd day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sevenlythree Albert Rentter of Anichester in said County of Litchheld, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a eitizen of the United States. And the said Albert hentter then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made the by hin before delerk of the Superiorcomister said County and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled " An Actto establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONXECTICUT, COUNTY OF Seletfield) ss. the it Remembered, That on the 16th day of March A. D. 1971 before the blerk of the Superiorour, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally Reutter born in letermany in said County, who was aged about 33 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Milliam I, King of Princia f the United Kingdoy of Great Britain and Iroland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Wm Likanson Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. 16 Bmp Mm Ransom Clerk. And it appearing tofthe satisfaction of the Court, that said Albert Rentles das resided within the United States five years at least, avil adi and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Albert Reulter having declared oath, that he would support on the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to William I king of frussia of the United that Albert Beatter Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before Vsubject. It was therefore considered by the Court, be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
