    "ocrText": "45\nAt a Superior Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of\nConnecticut, on the\nhundred and fifty Dix\n2. Tuesday of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight\nPRESENT-HON John D. Park Judgo\nthe it Remembered, That on the\n26\nday of September\nin the\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty Six games Here\nof Torrington\nin said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nHere\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him before the blerk of the County bourt\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actito\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Sitchfield\n}\nss.\nthe it Remembered, That on the 19.\nday\nof August\nA. D. 1854, before the\nbleck of the County Court, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared,\nL. S.\ngames Hose\nof Jorington\nin said\nCounty, who was born in Rosernance b. Ireland\naged about 30\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria\nGreen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Fredk, D Beeman\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nFredenick D, Beeman\nClerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said\nHow\nhas resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nHose\nAnd the said\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to Victoria Queen\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat said games Horo\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
