Be it Remembered, That on the 12 th day of October
A. D. 188 8.100 before
me,
EDWIN E. MARVIN, Clerk of the District Court of the United States
Flym of America for said District, of personally Harlford appeared faresmich d in said District,
who was born in Ireland,
aged about 26 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide
his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to
renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince,
Potentate, State, and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to
Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,
of whom he is now a subject.
In Testimong Whereaf, I, EDWIN E. MARVIN, Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set
my hand, this day and year. aforesaid.

A true copy of the original record. Witness my hand and the seal of said Court, at
Hartford, in said District, this of October A.D. 1888
