COUNTY OF HARTFORD.
it vemembered, That
Rulph Bottomly
of Enfirle
in said County of Hartford, but tale of the United
Kengdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the bounty
Court for said County of Hartford, held. at Harlford, in said County, on the
first day of if pire
in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and for ty the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on cath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to foreign Prince, Potentale, Stale
or Sovereignty to
whatever, and particularly Kitoria, Dear
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREON I have hereunto set my hand
and afficed the Seal of said County
Court this first
day of
April in the year of our Lord,
one thousand eight hundred and forly.
