United States of America. Be it Remembered That the following named persons, each for himself, on the day and date set against his name, appeared before the Court of Common Pleas holden at Hartford, within and for the County of Hartford, the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal, and each declared on oath that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty set against his name, of which he has hitherto been a subject. NAME. RESIDENT OF DATE.
