Essex, TO WIT :
To all to whom these presents shall come,
GREETING :
Know ye, that at the Police Court of Lawrence, within said County of Essex, holden at said Lawrence,
on the
Teruth -
day of America
A. D. 1857
William B. Sealer
of
Semenee
in said County of Essex, an alien, in his proper person, came into
Court, and in open Court, on oath, represented and declared,
that he was born at Pacion
in England
on or about the
day of September
A. D. 18 56 that he arrived in the United States, at
Boston
on or about the
,
anythin
day of July
1883; and that it was bona fide, his
intention to become a citizen of the United States, and renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any
foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,
whose subject he had heretofore been :
Thereupon the Court ordered, that such representation and declaration be recorded, and a certificate thereof
granted, pursuant to the laws of the United States in such case made and provided.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I hereunto set my hand, and affix the seal
of said Court at Lawrence, in the County of Essex aforesaid, this
