COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: war BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 28th day of march A.D. before me Robtze Osborn 185 Clerk of the County Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, Peterfoseph Simonia of new Haven in said County, who was born in France aged about 31 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Vietoria, Queen napoleon third Emperor of Grance Rabks Osborr of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Iroland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
