D. 185 8, before me d, Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, a Jeiny Clerk of the County Superior molod Dosefh Smith mendin in said County, who was born in n of is England aged about 3, years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his d intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and 1. fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen I, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Clerk of said Court, my have hereunto set hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
