419 STATE OF CONNECTIOUT D SS. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: way 10 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 31st day of March, A. D. 1868, before me, Aithur D. Osforne, Clerk of the County Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, Thomas Donngan, of Norwalk, in Fairfield in said County, who was born in aid Ireland, aged about 23 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Aithur D.
