Osbame Clerk of the Gounty Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, John Well of New Heaven in said County, who was born in Hesse Casselin Prussia aged about 28 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen The thing of Prussia of the United Kingdom of Groat Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--In TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Arthur D Osbame Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
