495 STATE OF CONNECTIOUT 9 ss. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: - 1/ BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 27th day of March A. D. 1871, before me Edward Ast Clerk of the Gounty Superior red, Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, John Tranley in of Duly in said County, who was born in his Ireland aged about 30 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his nd intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and en fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen I, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--In TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, and Edward A Anketell Ast Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
