21 STATE OF CONNECTIOUT, COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: 3 ss. 10 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 29th day of October A. D. 1852 before me Robtale Osform Clerk of the County moled Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, Richard Barry of new Hason in said County, who was born in Ireland aged about 27 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--In TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Robtre.
