being duly sworn, say that they are well acquainted with the
above named applicant, and that the said applicant has resided
within the United Piates for the continuous term of six
years immediately preceding the 23d day of October 1886
and in the Piate of Connectiont for the term of six
years
immediately preceding the 23th " day of Colober
1866
and that durring that time he behaved as a man of good moral
character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United
Piates, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the
same.
