Dear General Eisenhower:
As a journalism class, we are encour-
aged to read and discuss current events.
We ran across this enclosed article
which appeared in the October 18, 1965 edition
of the San Francisco Chronicle.
We are wondering if there is any truth
in the article's statement that you entered the
spacecraft which landed at Edward's Air Force
Base.
Although we realize that some infor-
mation is classified and cannot be revealed to
the general public, we would like to know if
you can give us any confirmation of the matter.
