Genoral officers of my staff have also been so engaged for several days. It is possible, as you say, that some of by subordinates in the field are not carrying out my policies, and any instances found will be promptly corrected, However, on the brighter side of the picture, I have just received very good reports from our senior Rabbi who acts as liaison officer on Hebrew matters, and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee which represents Jewish interests in the UNITED STATES Zone states that it has made no official com plaints as it has recognized that all matters mentioned in HARR- ISON's Report are being remedied with the utmost speed consistent SGG COPT No. with the difficulties of the situation.
