Dear George:
°41
Thank you a lot for informing me about the new
camp you found near Weimar. I suggest that every
visitor coming into that region should be urged
to see the place if it is at all possible to ar-
range trips for them.
I thoroughly approve of the letter you wrote to
your corps commanders except as to your flatter-
ing reference to myself. 1 was anxious only that
your troops know how auch I approve of their
splendid accomplishments.
Right now you are getting set for the drive in a
slightly new direction, but I cannot be quite
certain yet when I can pull the trigger for that
one. I have another task that I aust make sure
is performed before I can let you go.
with best of luck and warm regards.
Sincerely,
Lt. General George S. Patton, Jr.
