Dear Mrs. Roosevelt:
I have just received a note from Dave Lloyd telling
me that you have made two donations to ay Library
Fund. I can't tell you how very much I appreciate
it.
I am somewhat in a quandary now because two Univer-
sities in this part of the country are bringing
pressure on me to build a building on their campuses.
I don't know what is the best way to handle it but
I do want to be sure that my Presidential papers
are safe and in the hands of the Government just as
President Roosevelt's are.
Mrs. Truman wants to be remembered to you.
