This simply does not hold up! The chief of the FBI should
be above reproach. This does represent a double standard of
justice since Kelly himself fired a man who had done exactly
as Kelly had done. No excuse, including the illness of his wife
which relates not at all, can be made for the head of the FBI
being less than impeccable. I loose more and more faith with
our government with Presidential actions of this kind! No amount
of excuses by the President and the Justice Department can make
it wash!
If I did anything like this on my job - and I am not in
such a vital position and my actions do not reflect on my
government - I'd be sacked - and rightly!
